The PLD Flat Type Bag Centrifuge is an innovative solid-liquid separation machine independently developed by Jiangsu Shengli Centrifuge Manufacturing Co., Ltd. on the basis of conventional scraper-discharge centrifuges. After scraper discharge, a residual cake layer (the so-called "heel cake") always remains on the bowl wall of traditional machines, compromising product purity in the next batch and creating risks of cross-contamination and batch-to-batch variation. While retaining the high discharge efficiency of scraper technology, the PLD incorporates a liftable filter bag inside the bowl: during discharge, the bag is pulled down and oscillates reciprocally, detaching the residual cake layer quickly and completely. The result is genuinely automatic, residue-free discharge-an ideal machine for API crystallization separation and high-value material recovery.
[Working Principle]
When the discharge cycle begins, the scraper first removes the bulk of the cake through the blanking holes at the bottom of the bowl. The remaining layer is then eliminated by the automatic bag-pulling mechanism inside the bowl, which generates an oscillation effect that thoroughly clears the residue before the bag automatically resets for the next cycle. The machine uses variable-frequency speed control and fully automatic PLC control; bag lowering and resetting are completed automatically without operator intervention. Large-flip or fully flip-open housing versions are available for thorough inspection and cleaning.
