Due to its slender shaft and flexible suspension support, the specialized centrifuge is relatively tall. During installation, sufficient operating and maintenance space must be provided around the centrifuge, and adequate clearance should also be maintained above it. Lifting equipment should be provided to facilitate the disassembly and assembly of rotating parts during maintenance.
Because of the suspension support, the verticality of the main shaft must be ensured during installation. Use a 0.2/1000 level to calibrate the shaft against the motor mounting plane. Then, fix the base or frame and check that the main shaft is vertical, i.e., aligned with the centrifuge casing.
The electrical control cabinet of the specialized centrifuge should be placed in a control room close to the operating area. Environmental requirements such as ventilation, dryness, and absence of vapor phase corrosion should be considered. When using frequency converter control, air conditioning and exhaust fans are required to ensure that electrical components can operate normally during the frequent speed increases and decreases of the centrifuge.
